There are ingenious ways to create a functional kitchen even in the smallest of spaces. I have seen a video of a very resourceful British interior designer who designed his 28 square foot flat into a very liveable space. The limited area is a complete home with a fold in kitchen, dining area, living room and bedroom all in one. He utilized the modern design of tucking away all the unused furniture and equipment into the walls covered by a push and pop cabinet door.
As an example, since he is living single, he only uses a small stove, a tiny ref and a small sink to complete his kitchen. If not in use, his cooking stove is hidden behind a cabinet door which does not have any handles so you will have to give it a slight push. One side of the door pops up and you just need to pull it open. The cabinet door looks like a wall panel. Another cabinet door can be pushed and it falls flat into a horizontal position and that becomes his dining table. When not in use, he can discreetly tuck away the table into the wall panel and his flat becomes again more spacious. The way he used his kitchen furniture ideas is a great way to utilize the space in a mini kitchen.
